El miércoles 7 de febrero a las 7 PM será nuestra próxima reunión de Green Drinks en Ciudad de Guatemala. Nos reuniremos en el Mercadito de Lola, zona 15. Tendremos de invitada a Jeanne Samayoa, arquitecta especializada en urbanismo sostenible, apasionada de los barrancos de la ciudad de Guatemala como sistema hídrico de todo el país. Sueña con heredar ríos limpios donde los niños pueda jugar y tener agua en el futuro. Quiere que todos nos podamos movilizar en puentes ciclopeatonales a trabés de parques que nos conecten y permitan vivir una vida sana y de bienestar
Es parte de la Mesa de Barranqueros, co-fundadora de Nueva Narrativa, lider del movimiento ciudadano HaciendoECO y presidenta de la Alianza por la Cuenca del Motagua. Nos contará de la situación actual de la Cuenca del Motagua y los esfuerzos en los que participa para recuperarla.
Para participar solo tiene que comprar un trago y venir a compartir. Hay bebidas con y sin alcohol al igual que comida para quienes vengan justo después del trabajo.

Wednesday, February 7 at 7 PM will be our next Green Drinks meeting in Guatemala City. We will meet at the Mercadito de Lola, zone 15. We will have as a guest Jeanne Samayoa, an architect specialized in sustainable urbanism, passionate about the ravines of Guatemala City as a water system for the entire country. She dreams of inheriting clean rivers where children can play and have water in the future. She wants us all to be able to move on pedestrian bridges through parks that connect us and allow us to live a healthy and well-being life.
She is part of the Mesa de Barranqueros, co-founder of Nueva Narrativa, leader of the citizen movement HaciendoECO, and president of the Alliance for the Motagua Basin. She will tell us about the current situation of the Motagua Basin and the efforts in which she participates to recover it.
Come buy a drink and join the conversations. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as food for those who come right after work.
